Weekly announcements

• Typically a video of the Sunday morning service will be uploaded to this page on Sunday afternoon, usually by 3:00 p.m. Previous sermons can be found under “Media” on this website (click on podcasts).

• Kelly Dunnigan  will be out of the office Wednesday, Dec. 3rd through Monday, Dec. 8th. (As a reminder, regular office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9a-2p). 

• Chrismon Service (Tree decorating): Sunday , Dec. 7th at 6:00 pm    

• Caroling Nursing Home Outreach: Wednesday, Dec. 10th, Meet at the church at 6:30 pm in the foyer to enjoy some hot beverages. We will then all head out together to go to Granite Nursing & Rehab (3500 Century Dr.) to sing carols to the residents. This will be in place of our usual Wednesday evening service.

• The GBC Christmas Card Postal Service is back! Save the stamp and bring your Christmas Cards to us and we will deliver them for you. This allows you to donate the cost of the stamp to the 2025 Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.  Please place your Love Offering in a blue envelope and designate it for Lottie Moon Postage (LMP). Bring your alphabetized cards for *ACTIVE in person GBC attenders* together in a large envelope or bag and place them in the mailbox at the front door. They will be ready for delivery beginning Sunday, Dec. 14th and we will continue to deliver through Sunday, Jan. 4th.

• The December issue of  The Voice and the new issue of The Daily Bread are now available at the Resource Desk.

• Children & Youth Christmas Party: (K thru 9th) Saturday, Dec. 20th, 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Parents are encouraged to attend with their child. There will be food, games & fun. If interested, RSVP Sheila at sheilagbcgranite@outlook.com 

• Food Pantry: We can provide a box of non-perishable food items for anyone in need (by appointment only). Call 618-877-6672 during our office hours (9:00a and 2:00p, Monday thru Thursday) to schedule a food box pick-up.
