Weekly announcements

  • We have services at 10:45 am on Sunday mornings. The service includes singing, prayer, and a sermon. On Sunday afternoon, a video of this service will be available around 2:00-3:00 pm on this website.

  • The Mother’s Day Offering benefits Baptist Children’s Home & Family Services. It is taken through the month of May.
    Offering envelopes are available on the Resource Desk.

  • Sunday evening, May 19th there will be a question and answer meeting about Pastor Daniel’s request to take on a co-vocational role as the pastor of Grace and the dean of Brookes Bible College. This is in place of our regular evening service. Feel free to ask follow up questions of the Pastor the following week while he is in the office. For more information about Brookes Bible College you can go to Brookes.edu or read some of the material we’ve placed on the resource desk.

    ***A ballot vote on the dean issue will be on June 2
    and the Church will have the opportunity to
    vote in either the morning or evening service.***

  •  ADULT Game Night: Friday, May 17th, 6:30-8:30p - Bring your own snacks and drinks. There are games there but feel free to bring one. Please sign-up at the Welcome Desk. (Adults only please. If you do bring children, you will be responsible for sitting with them and supervising them at all times.)

  • VBS Planning Meeting: Sunday, May 19, in the fellowship hall immediately following the morning service. Come learn about this year’s theme based on Romans 12:2 and all the ways you can help make this the best VBS ever! If you’re not a member of Grace, but would like to help, please see Pastor Daniel.

    • VBS will be here before you know it. Be sure to mark your calendars for July 22-26.

  • School’s Out Party Outreach Event: Sunday, June 9th, 2-4pm at Robertson Park (2 blocks from the church at Edwards & Kate)
    In reaching out to the children & youth of our community, we are also afforded an opportunity to visit with family members
    who may accompany them. Your presence is needed to help ensure everyone feels welcomed. We also need workers to help with games, food, setup, cleanup etc. Please let Sheila know if you’re able to help.

  • Annual FISH FRY hosted by Adult B - ALL are welcome! Saturday, June 15th, 11:30 am - 2 pm (eat at noon). Meet at Wilson Park, Shelter #8  near State & 28th St. Fish is provided but please bring a side dish to share (if you can). Water and lemonade will also be provided. If you think you’ll attend, please sign up at the Welcome Desk.

  • The new Daily Bread is now available at the Resource Desk.  

  • Memorial Day is May 27th. The office will be closed on Memorial Day. 

  • Food Pantry: We can provide a box of non-perishable food items for anyone in need (by appointment only). Call 618-877-6672 during our office hours (9:00a and 2:00p, Monday thru Thursday) to schedule a food box pick-up. Please note: food boxes cannot be delivered.

  • Thank you YOUTH for the wonderful Mother’s Day Breakfast.  What a special time of fellowship. It was also a great outreach as several visitors attended. Thanks to all those who helped, and a special thank you to Robin for organizing the event.
